Italy midfielder Daniele De Rossi has warned his side not to underestimate Serbia in their Euro 2012 Group C qualifier on Friday night.Cesare Prandelli’s men have already cleared the qualification hurdle and are through to next year’s tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
However, Serbia are still aiming to reach the play-off stages and will be keen to show their Euro aims are not finished.
“It’s a real game for us and an important match. Serbia have many good players who play in Europe and in Italy,” De Rossi said.
“We will be playing against a top-level team and so this can be an important test ahead of Euro 2012.
“They will be playing in front of their supporters and so it will be an important game.”
Kick-off in Belgrade is at 2045 (CET) on Friday.
