GROUP D: 14 PLAYERS FROM LAST AFCON MAKE SAMI TRABELSI’S AFCON 2013 TEAM

Tunisia’s all-time goal scorer with 31 goals;striker Issam Jemaa will play in his fifth successive Africa Cup of Nations as Sami Trabelsi selects him to spearhead the Carthage Eagles attack.The major absentee is Ligue 1 winner Jamel Saihi of Montpellier, who is sidelined with a knee injury. Uncapped French-born midfielder Wahbi Khazri is part of the 25-man team named by Trabelsi. The 21-year-old from Bastia completed a switch of international allegiance after playing for France at under-21 level.

Tunisia will face Algeria, Ivory Coast and Togo in Group D. Trabelsi will have to drop two players from his selection by the January 9 deadline.
